  I've eaten here once. It wasnt that good to me the steak was dried out. I only asked for 3 items on my sub and they forgot one.. lamest sub I've ever had

  Honestly the experience was ok until I got home and realized there was no meat on my sub that I just paid over$10 for. I'm highly disappointed

  When you walk into Big Johns you hit a wall of sensations. The steam from the moist steak and onion comes and wraps around your nose, and makes you feel all warm inside. I then proceeded to walk to the counter were I meet a very tired worker. She looked like she did not want to be there, the bags underneath her eyes looked like my grandmas (shes 90). I do not blame her though it is a very grueling job I bet. But her cooking skills made up for everything. I would have thought I was at Jimmy Johns because let me tell you it was freaky fast. The succulent pieces of steak that went into my sub was an unforgettable experience. It only took her two minutes to whip up a fantastic meal, I was thoroughly shocked. As I took a bite of my sub oh boy was a taken on a ride. The sub takes you to a happy place like no other, every bite is so fantastic you never want it to end. But as a began to finish my sub I started to look around and holy cow was it not the cleanest. Wrappers on the ground, tables barely cleaned, and trays just left on tables. This is sadly why i had to give this place four stars. In conclusion, the steak and onion could compete with the very best in Philadelphia. If in need for something fat and juicy I would say Big Johns is the best bet.
